“Are you saying this is my mother?” Im Yeong-gyu has been blind since birth, but he has risen to become a master artisan who hand-engraves the most beautiful stamps in the world. One day, he and his son Dong-hwan receive an unexpected call from the police. The skeletal remains of Jung Young-hee—Yeong-gyu’s wife and Dong-hwan’s mother, who went missing 40 years ago—have been discovered. The police suggest the possibility that she may have been murdered. Shocked and curious about the mother he never knew, Dong-hwan begins tracing the truth behind her death with Kim Su-jin, a documentary producer who had been filming his father’s life story.
